Our Program

Moline Youth Football encompasses playing opportunities for 3rd through 12th grade. This site contains mainly information for the Jr. Maroons program. 

Jr. Maroons is a co-ed tackle football program for grades 3-6 to help teach teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Divisions are made up of 3rd/4th graders, and 5th/6th graders. The teams compete within the Illinois metro Quad Cities. Other teams include East Moline (U.T), Rock Island, and Alleman. The players begin learning the framework of playing within the Moline system.

Values are reinforced in the middle school programs at John Deere Middle School & Wilson Middle School (grades 7 & 8). The overall program continues to assist in the mental, physical and emotional growth of the participants.

The program culminates in the athlete's final years in the Moline Football program (grades 9-12). They have likely mastered many drills and concepts of the system. The Moline Maroons compete in the Western Big Six conference within IHSA play.
